Carmel Lally - Credentials

Carmel Lally is a respected cosmetic scientist, beautician and educator with many years of experience in the industry.

Carmel has diplomas in Beauty Therapy (I.T.E.C. and C.I.D.E.S.C.O.) and later graduated from The University of The Arts, London with a first class BSc (Hons) in Cosmetic Science. She then obtained a PGCE from the University of Greenwich.

Carmel spent four years working as a professional beauty therapist, both in Ireland and in New York.

Carmel is currently Associate Lecturer at the London College of Fashion, on the BSc (Hons) Cosmetic Science course, teaching Chemistry, Raw Materials and Product Formulation. She has also taught Beauty Therapy and Make-Up.

Carmel has worked as a formulator for a number of leading cosmetic companies and also spent four years as a 'Personal Beauty Consultant' at a major west end department store in London where she worked with many commercial cosmetic ranges.
